Andrew Nweke

Chairman, Board of Directors

Andrew is a member of the Board of Directors of Norrenberger.

He is the Founder and Managing Director of Amborg Global Resources (AGR) Limited; a leading engineering company offering integrated construction solutions and related services across Nigeria. Andy started the company in 2008, and it provides services in all areas of construction including Facilities Management and Real Estate Development. Andy is also an astute investor, with interests spanning Oil & Gas, Telecoms, Agriculture and Hospitality.

Sarah Kwaala Ballah

Non-Executive Director

Sarah Kwa’ala Ballah is a distinguished Public Relations Executive, Communications Strategist, Veteran Journalist, and an ordained Minister of the Gospel.

Prior to her meritorious retirement, she served as the General Manager, Superannuation & Investments at the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA). Her wealth of experience spans Public Relations & Corporate Communications, Media Management, SERVICOM Operations, Editorial Leadership, Protocol & Events Management, and Stakeholder Engagement. Over the course of her career at the NPA, Pastor Sarah made significant contributions including pioneering the Nigerian Ports Today journal and setting high standards of service excellence in the organization. She covered the office of the General Manager Corporate Communications from 2023 to 2024, providing strategic communication leadership and strengthening the Authority’s public image. Renowned for her integrity, exceptionalism, and result-oriented leadership, she consistently delivered innovative solutions and impactful outcomes in every assignment.

She began her professional journey in journalism during her NYSC year, starting as a television broadcaster before transitioning into print media. Rising through the ranks, she became Features Editor at Today Newspapers in Kaduna.

She graduated with a degree in English Language from the University of Maiduguri and holds an MBA from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH).

She is a Fellow of the Institute of Administrators, a member of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), and a member of the Institute of Cost Management.

Pastor Sarah Ballah is a celebrated contributor to the maritime sector and has received notable recognitions including her listing in the MMS Hall of Fame, being named a Maritime Amazon (FOMI), and honoured as a Role Model by Women in Logistics and Transport (WILAT).

She is passionate about nation-building, youth development, and has supported numerous young people through education and personal growth.

Tony Edeh

Non-Executive Director

Tony is a seasoned Financial Analyst & Venture Capitalist.

Prior to joining the firm, he worked as the Executive Director and Chief Investment Officer (CIO) of New Frontiers Developments; a venture capital investment firm focused on SMEs.

His wealth of experience ranges from Investment & Portfolio Management, Strategy, Financial Risk Management, Modelling, Financial Reporting and Operations Management. In his role as CIO of New frontiers Developments, Tony originated and executed several landmark investments and private equity deals which has gained international recognition. He has worked on several green and brownfield transactions covering Oil & Gas, Power, Agriculture, Real Estate, Hospitality, Healthcare, Technology, Financial Services and Impact Investing. Tony was part of the leadership team that successful transformed an ailing mortgage bank and positioned it as one of the major lenders in the Nigeria financial services sector.

He started his career with the audit firm of KPMG Professional Services (formerly Arthur Andersen) where he spent nearly a decade. While at KPMG, he led various risk management projects on Basel II, Stress Testing Financial Institutions, Asset and Liability Management and Credit & Market Risk Management. He was also accredited by KPMG International to provide advisory services to clients in Credit Risk and Economic Capital Modelling.

He graduated from the University of Ilorin with a degree in Computer Science as the overall best student and attended INSEAD Business School (France and Singapore) for his MBA where he was an INSEAD-Goldman Sachs Scholar. While at INSEAD he was the leader of the Emergent Young African Entrepreneurs. He is also an Alumni of the Wharton Program on International Housing Finance. He is a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA).

He has also undertaken several professional training courses across the globe. In the year 2014, he was nominated amongst six Nigerians for the Desmond Tutu Fellowship program.

He currently sits on the board of several companies in the financial services industry.

Pabina Yinkere

Non-Executive Director

Pabina is an accomplished investment professional, responsible for driving the asset management strategy of the organization. He has two decades of experience in investment advisory, research, portfolio management, and institutional sales. His career is defined by pioneering achievements that have transformed the Nigerian financial landscape.

Prior to joining Norrenberger, Pabina was Chief Investment Officer at Access Pensions where he effectively managed an impressive $2 billion in assets across 16 funds. Pabina launched the very first Non-Interest Pension and Aggressive Pension Funds in Nigeria. His visionary leadership drove investment performance to secure back-to-back top-two rankings within the pension industry.

Before joining Access Pensions, his role at Vetiva Capital Management as first, Head of Investment Research and later, Director of Institutional Business, was marked by insightful analysis and strategic communication that attracted and retained over $300 million in assets under management. He was part of the team that introduced Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) to the Nigerian market.

Prior to this, Pabina served as Head, Research at the Asset Management Division at Access Bank PLC where he established the Economic and Market Research Desk and successfully launched the Division’s maiden Mutual Funds offering, raising $13 million.

He holds an Executive Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from Lagos Business School, Pan African University, Nigeria, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Geophysics from Ambrose Alli University. He has also attended numerous courses in leadership and strategy.

With his renowned contributions and diverse expertise in finance, Pabina remains an invaluable asset to the investment and asset management space.

Robert Omotunde

Non-Executive Director

Robert Omotunde (ACS, ACSI, ADC, ACIB) was the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) at Afrinvest Asset Management Limited between where he is responsible for over US$100.0m worth of Asset Under Management (AUM) comprising of both naira and dollar investments in various asset classes. He has over 17 years of Banking, Investment Research, and investment management experience.

He started his career with the defunct Intercontinental Bank Plc. where he worked in the Retail & Personal Banking Unit. His Investment Research experience began at Meristem Securities Limited where he was involved in Macroeconomics, Equity and Fixed Income Research. Before leaving Meristem, he was Team Lead, Fixed Income Research where he coordinated active tracking of the Fixed Income Market. Robert thereafter moved to Afrinvest in his first sojourn, where he was Head, Investment Research Strategy and actively covered the Banking and Consumer Goods Sectors on equity side and Fixed Income research.

After Afrinvest, he had a stint at AIICO Capital Limited, where he was Head, Investment Research and also part of a team that managed over N135.0bn of fixed income portfolio. Robert then moved to Sankore Securities Limited where he was responsible for the Management of over N30.0bn portfolio diversified across majorly fixed income, equity, and alternatives, particularly commodities and real estate. He is a certified Potential Capital Market Operator by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). He is both an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (CIS) Nigeria and Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment (CISI) UK. He is also an associate of the respected Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (ACIB). Robert is also an Authorized Dealing Clerk (ADC) of the Nigeria Exchange Group.

Robert graduated in 2007 with First Class (Hons) in Education from the University of Lagos. He also holds a PGD in Economics (Distinction) and M.Sc. Economics (Distinction) both from the University of Lagos. He is currently finalising a PhD degree in management (Finance) from Pan-Atlantic University, Lagos. He is a graduate and alumnus of the prestigious Senior Management Programme (SMP95) of the Lagos Business School. He has also attended several trainings with various renowned academic and professional institutions including the highly respected Pan-African University (Lagos Business School).

Dr. Irene Robinson-Ayanwale

Non-Executive Director

Dr. Irene Robinson-Ayanwale is a visionary legal practitioner and multi-award-winning expert in corporate governance, compliance, and sustainability. With over two decades of experience, she is a trusted voice at the intersection of law, finance, and sustainable development, helping organizations embed ethical and impactful principles into their strategies.

She currently serves as Company Secretary of The Tourist Company of Nigeria Plc (owners of Federal Palace Hotel), ensuring corporate governance and regulatory compliance, and as General Counsel & Company Secretary of Cascador, where she oversees legal and governance structures for mid-stage African startups, including a landmark $2M Catalytic Fund for impact entrepreneurs. She is also Founder of TheLegalESG Collective, supporting startups with governance and compliance frameworks.

Her previous leadership roles include Group Head of Audit, Compliance, Risk, and Sustainability at OmniRetail Technology Ltd, recognized by the Financial Times as Africa’s Fastest Growing Company in 2024 and 2025, and Divisional Head of Business Support Services/General Counsel at the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX). At NGX, she championed sustainability milestones such as EDGE gender equality certification and the IFC/NGX Nigeria2Equal program.

Dr. Robinson-Ayanwale’s policy influence extends nationally and across Africa. She has served on the Presidential Steering Committee for the AfCFTA Readiness Assessment, chaired the Legal Committee of the African Exchanges Linkage Project, and co-chaired the Nigerian Coalition of Services Industries.

She has received both national and international recognition for her leadership. She was named one of the Global 200 Women Power Leaders 2025 (Compliance, Capital Market & Sustainability Category), a World Federation of Exchanges’ Woman Leader (2022), and featured in the Legal 500 GC Powerlist Nigeria (2024 & 2025). Nationally, she is a two-time recipient of the General Counsel of the Year Award at the Esq Nigerian Legal Awards (2021 & 2022). She holds an MBA from the European Business Institute of Luxembourg, an Honorary Doctor of Law degree, and fellowships in several professional institutes. Beyond boardrooms, she is passionate about youth empowerment, having founded a Talent Show and Summer Camp that nurtures Africa’s next generation.

Deborah Akande

Executive Director, Operations

Deborah Akande (ACS, ACSI, ADC, MBA) is the current Executive Director, Operations at Norrenberger Securities Limited where she oversees the firm’s core operational strategy, ensuring seamless trade execution, regulatory compliance, risk management, and client service delivery. Her role involves providing strategic leadership, driving operational efficiency, strengthening governance structures, and aligning day-to-day processes with the firm’s long-term business objectives. She is responsible for steering business growth, enhancing market competitiveness, and ensuring the organization’s sustainability in a highly dynamic capital market environment.

Debbie is a seasoned investment professional with experience spanning over 13 years in the Nigerian Capital Market. She started her career at Capital Trust Brokers Limited where she gathered extensive experience in securities trading and held various operational roles within the organization. She later joined Interstate Securities Limited as a Senior Research Analyst where she was responsible for providing in-depth analysis of equities and other investment instruments, evaluating market trends, industry developments, and macroeconomic indicators to inform investment strategies, supports investors roadshows, and financial education through webinars.

Shortly after, Debbie joined Afrinvest Securities Limited as the Head, Brokerage Services where she gathered experience in client management, retail and institutional sales, brokerage services, investment advisory, business development, and people management.

Deborah Akande is an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers, Associate member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments (UK), an Authorized Dealing Clerk of the Nigerian Exchange (NGX), and a Securities and Exchange Commission Sponsored Individual.

Deborah holds a Higher National Diploma in Computer Science from Yaba College of Technology, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with Finance specialization from the University of Lagos, and a Master of Business Administration in International Business from Nexford University, USA.
